Tutorial

After an in depth tutorial about my progress here were the main elements that I needed to revise in order to improve my project:

Chapter 1:

Be more sucsinct about the opening paragraph.

Add sub-heading to the history of stop-motion and CGI sections to make it easier to differentiate them and make it more aesthetically appealing.

Paraphrasing some quotes.

Try and find the innovators of certain aspects of the techniques such as the innovators of IK and FK handles for example or who created the polygon and body mechanics or blend shapes which could be the end for 3D printed faces.

Arrange stop-motion before CGI to get a more chronological feel.

New Order of Dissertation:

Introduction - 500-1000 words

Chapter one: - 1000-2000 words
-History of Stop-motion
-History of CGI

Chapter two: - 2000 words
-Replacement technology
-Practicality

Chapter three - 1000 - 2000 words
-the aesthetic appeal
-the uncanny valley

Conclusion - 1000 words

Other:

Instead of asking mark Shapiro of Laika for answers to my questions, instead try and ask the person responsible for the animation who knows in more detail.
